Weird Names. Weirder Colors. Ridiculous Catch Rates.

We’ve been tying lures in our garage since ’92. Still using the same ugly color combos that outfish everything else on the water.

Why These Lures Keep Landing Fish

Tested Where It Counts

We tie every lure variation at dawn, test it by lunch, and only sell what catches dinner. Our “good enough” pile gets tossed back—if it won’t fool Erie’s pressured fish, it won’t fool yours either.

Innovative Design

Chartreuse-purple with a pink belly? Glow green with copper flakes? Our combinations look ridiculous because fish haven’t learned to avoid them yet. When everyone’s throwing the same “proven” patterns, different wins.

Small-Batch Weird

We make 50 at a time, not 50,000. That means we can try bizarre ideas that big companies won’t touch—like that perch pattern with the googly eyes that absolutely slays in early spring.

How a Bad Fishing Day Started This Whole Thing

Erie Dearie started in ’92 when three guys got completely skunked on Lake Erie using every “guaranteed” lure in the tackle shop. Out of pure frustration, we went home and tied up some truly ugly combinations—stuff no respectable angler would throw.

Next morning, we couldn’t keep the walleye off them. Turns out fish don’t read fishing magazines, and what “should” work often doesn’t. Now we’re a dozen local tiers making lures that look wrong but fish right, selling mostly to anglers who’ve learned that the weird stuff in the bottom of your tackle box usually outfishes the pretty stuff on top.
